As a business owner I wanted to get several bids for having the floors in our 100 year old building refinished. I did exactly that. I had folks that didn't show up, ones that refused to show up based on the age of the building, some that had no issue with the age of the floors and then Mike Waller came to my building. Mike went through the entire job with me. He knew the types of wood and how they would react. He looked over everything closely and told me where it would go well and where it would not. We discussed everything, the time and the mess involved, the preparation and the products he would be using. Mike was respectful to my business needs to work with our schedule to minimize the effect on my business, even if that mean odd working hours and days for him and his crew. I knew I had found him on Tom Martino's Troubleshooter list for a reason! I would not hesitate to use Waller Hardwoods again or to ever refer Mike and crew to anyone. As a matter of fact I already have several times.

I went with
WALLERHARDWOOD to do my hardwood floors. I wanted someone who did his own work and was totally responsible for the job. Mike was that kind of person. He also told me it would take eight days. True to his word he was right on the money. However, it wasn't eight week days. He worked straight through the weekend and on Memorial Day to finish up my job, before company arrived in town.
He is very cognizant of his responsibility and wasn't satisfied until we were satisfied. Now here's the real kicker. He never asked for a cent until the job was finished. Can you believe that? He didn't ask for money to buy materials or anything. We would have gladly given it to him, but this is just the way he does business. It was a real pleasure.
